DriveBy is a real time Transportation, Logistics support and for ordering goods from the shop.
Project Description
DriveBy is a real time Transportation and Logistics support, a marketplace of hyper local goods and services, including Rides, Car Pools(Commute) and Deliveries. Customer app is for ordering goods from the shops.
Challenge
We have numerous Georeference zones in drive by service. They are categorized into different types of areas such as service area, Airport and its staging area, restricted area. When a consumer initiates to book a cab from a locality they are automatically notified about the service availability of the cab in the locality.
Solution
Server side consists of a list of latitude and longitude coordinates for each service area. On the client side we create polygon bounds with the latitude and longitude coordinates list and do mathematical calculations to find the service area with overlap zones.
