Description of the Issue:-
I was working on a checkout form on a website. While I complete all the process and click submit, it sends all the necessary data to pay.php via post. Then, the pay.php file does the rest and transmits all the data over to the payment gateway. Pay.php file stores sensitive data. I need to secure it right to avoid access from outsiders to view or download via web browser by entering http://domain.com/pay.php
The Solution Offered:-
Adding the secure PHP code was a challenge. I did some research and found a few codes that should be added to the .htaccess file of the Apache server. Following this step is assured to restrict access to the file in the server.
You can use Files/FilesMatch and a regular expression:
